Dole & Disney want you to live Healthy Lives

The Walt Disney Company and Dole are partnering up for an eight-month campaign to promote healthy eating. Sure, we miss eating a Dole Whip in Adventureland, but we can all enjoy Dole’s fruit with Disney magic at home, too!

Dole is featuring 15 different Disney and Pixar characters on their fruit packages. You can find them in U.S. and Canadian grocery supermarkets. The fruit packages have characters taken from the following films:

  • Toy Story
  • A Bug’s Life
  • Monsters, Inc.
  • Finding Nemo
  • The Incredibles
  • Cars
  • Ratatouille
  • WALL•E
  • Up
  • Brave
  • Inside Out
  • The Good Dinosaur
  • Coco
  • Onward
  • Soul

The initiative to promote healthy eating and nutrition is a great message for kids. Fresh fruit and vegetables are vital for a healthy lifestyle. In the meantime, you can play Dole’s Banana Sticker Peel and Play by collecting 25 unique stickers featuring Pixar Animation characters. Celebrate National Lū‘au Month with Aulani Resort

May is National Lū‘au Month and there’s no better place to celebrate than Disney’s Aulani Resort in Hawaii. Aulani’s KA WA‘A Lū‘au is special because it continues Aulani’s celebration of Hawai‘i’s storytelling by sharing, through beautiful music and dance, how Hawai‘i’s ancestors settled on O‘ahu’s ‘Ewa Plains.

Since we can’t visit Aulani right now, we have some recommendations to help you create your very own KA WA‘A Lū‘au at home.

The first step is choosing your best luau outfit! For the ladies, a bright floral dress will keep you cool in the early evening sun and will look great flowing in the island breeze. A beautiful flower in your hair is the perfect accessory. For the guys, your nicest pair of shorts and a bright Hawaiian shirt is the perfect look for a luau.

The next step is food! You can’t have a luau without food. Limu Poke is a Hawai‘i staple and the fresh taste will instantly transport you to Aulani Resort. You can make the KA WA‘A Lū‘au limu poke recipe at home with this recipe.

KA WA‘A Lū‘au features a range of fun, interactive activities designed to immerse the whole family in Hawai‘i’s culture. One of the guest-favorite activities is the fresh flower lei making. For your at-home luau, you can make your own paper lei!

‘Agents of SHIELD’ Showrunners Tease MCU Crossover in the Final Season. The show runners for the hit series Agents of SHIELD teased something big is coming to the series in Season 7. The big tease came from an interview with Deadline about the final season and the show runners, Jefffrey Bell, Jed Whedon, and Jeph Loeb were asked about the potential for any MCU crossover for the series to which all three responded: “We’re going to bump into something,” Jed Whedon teased. “Yeah, we’ll bump into something,” Jeph Loeb shared with a laugh. “Something will definitely happen,” Jeffrey Bell replied.

“Part of making a show is a puzzle and part of it is a game and you’re working with people that you’ve known for a long time to try to create something good. Then, when you come to the end there is a bit of a pressure that you want to get that right. Here, I think it’s safe to say that all of us we feel like the audience will feel the thing we wanted them to feel in the end and will feel satisfied with the ending,” Whedon explained. “I also think that the emotion of having a last season and knowing it’s the end is heavy. I think that that carries into the episodes and carries into the storyline and the performances, and all of it. So, we’re happy with it and we’re actually happy to revisit it as we watch it, because we finished it a while ago,” Whedon added with a laugh.

Though all three refrained from sharing too much about what said crossover may be this has Marvel fans chomping at the bit to know: “Who or what will we see in the pending crossover?” With the clear use of time travel in the series and films truly, the possibilities are endless. We could be introduced to a new face that is set to appear in the films or Disney+ Marvel Series currently in the works, or we may see a veteran character appear and catch the team off guard. Personally, my vote is a young Steve Rogers (Captain America) before the super soldier serum and a young Bucky Barnes, but that remains to be seen.

We are already aware of several appearances such as Patton Oswalt’s return to the series, Enver Gjokaj reprising his role as Daniel Sousa from sister series Agent Carter, and more cameos are expected in the future according to series star Chloe Bennet (Daisy Johnson).

We can’t wait to see who and/or what is in store for the team in Season 7, but we are sad to see the series ending after a successful run on ABC. What do you think the big twist is? ‘Mighty Ducks’ Trilogy Now Streaming on HBOMax

‘Mighty Ducks’ Trilogy Now Streaming on HBOMax. Disney has been working hard to get more content added to the Disney+ library, but it seems The Mighty Ducks franchise will be one of the later additions as the first film is contracted to stream through HBO until July 3rd and the sequels are contracted through the rest of 2020 and will not be available to stream on Disney+ until January 1, 2021. Likely, these dates are when we will see the films leave HBOMax and begin streaming on Disney+.

Disney+ is however working on a Mighty Ducks series for the streaming service that will star Emilio Estevez (Coach Gordan Bombay), Lauren Graham (Alex), and Brady Noon (Evan). Also joining the cast are Swayam Bhatia, Taegen Burns, Julee Cerda, Bella Higginbotham, Luke Islam, Kiefer O’Reilly, Maxwell Simkins and De’Jon Watts.

“In present day Minnesota, the Mighty Ducks have evolved from scrappy underdogs to an ultra-competitive, powerhouse youth hockey team. After 12-year-old Evan (Noon) is unceremoniously cut from the Ducks, he and his mom Alex (Graham) set out to build their own ragtag team of misfits to challenge the cutthroat, win-at-all-costs culture of competitive youth sports. With the help of Gordon Bombay (Estevez), they discover the joys of playing just for the love of the game.”

On Wednesday, HBO launched their new streaming service, HBOMax.
