Walt Disney Animation Studios launched the new, 10-episode animated series called Zenimation on Disney+

Unplug, relax, and refresh your senses for a moment of mindfulness with Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “Zenimation” – an animated soundscape experience. Whether it’s baby Moana being called by the ocean, Anna and Kristoff walking through an icy forest, or Baymax and Hiro Hamada flying over San Fransokyo, these iconic scenes become an aural experience like no other with the sounds of ocean waves, an icy forest and soaring flight.

“Zenimation” pays tribute to both the visual and sound artists who have created Walt Disney Animation Studios’ legacy of films. Created and edited by David Bess. From Walt Disney Animation Studios.

“Zenimation” is streaming now on Disney+.

Shaghai Disneyland Stage Shows

Shanghai Disneyland reopened to guests on May 11th with limited operations. One of the items not ready to resume operations due to COVID-19 was the Stage Shows.

We are glad to announce that the Shanghai Disneyland Stage Shows have Resumed Operations today!

As you can see above shows like Frozen: A Sing-Along Celebration & Avengers Training have returned.

Still waiting to return to normal operations are the Parades and Nighttime Shows.

There is no word on when they are expected to resume operations, but we expect them to be back in running soon!

Newly Remodeled McDonald’s At Walt Disney World Nears Completion

McDonald's At Walt Disney WorldThe newly remodeled McDonald’s at Walt Disney World looks to be nearing completion. We recently took a drive near the fast-food restaurant that’s located near the All-Star Resorts and Animal Kingdom and we’re surprised by its progress. The Walt Disney World Resort has been closed since March with Disney Springs just recently opening back up but it looks like the remodel here has continued.

Newly Remodeled McDonald’s At Walt Disney World Nears Completion

This McDonald’s seems to have a modern design. There are loads of solar panels on the roof and out front and some greenery going up the building. It also appears to be much larger which will definitely help considering its popularity and convenient location.

There’s no announced opening date but it would be amazing if it was ready for guests to be welcomed back when the resorts reopen.

Missing Disney? Try this Dole Whip Drink from Taco Bell!

taco bell

While the Disney theme parks and resorts are closed, we are looking for any way to bring a taste of Disney home. If you are a big Dole Whip fan, head over to Taco Bell! They have a new Freeze flavor that just might hit the spot.

The Pineapple Whip Freeze at Taco Bell is no Dole Whip but it’s the next best thing! I grabbed one with my lunch the other day and it was quite tasty and refreshing. It’s almost more of a pineapple creamsicle flavor. Definitely worth trying as the weather heats up!

Former Disneyland President Reflects Back on Working at Disneyland

disneyland

Disneyland‘s former President, Rebecca Campbell, was recently appointed as chairman of Disney’s international business units and streaming services. She posted to Instagram reflecting on her time working at the Happiest Place on Earth.

She wrote:

“I remember my first day on the job at Disneyland, going up to Walt’s apartment, and looking out the window to see the amazing Cast Members and wonderful guests. It was a powerful moment, and one that has stuck with me ever since. I feel extremely grateful to have had this experience and to have met so many incredible people along the way.

As I embark on my next role as chairman of Disney’s international business units and streaming services including Disney+, I want to thank all of you for making the Disneyland Resort truly the Happiest Place on Earth. I was a frequent guest of the parks before I worked here… and I have no doubt I’ll be back often with my family.”

In her next role, Ms. Campbell will drive the next phase of Disney+’s growth and will also oversee the expansion of Disney+’s collection of library and original content.

I’m sure the cast members at Disneyland will miss her, but we can’t wait to see what Ms. Campbell does in her new position!
