Social Distancing Measures on Kilimanjaro Safaris in Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Social Distancing Measures on Kilimanjaro Safaris in Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Many people (including myself) are wondering how Disney will be handling Social Distancing Measures on rides & attractions. Thanks to our friend ThePixarGirl on Instagram she was able to get us photos & videos of what Disney World Rides & Attractions will look like in a COVID-19 world.

Just walking down to get on the ride you can see Plexiglass installed to divide the regular riders and the fast pass queue.

As you can see there is plexiglass all the way down to the loading zones.

Social Distancing Markers and more plexiglass are in place when you get on board the attraction.

There are dividers all the way up until you get into your ride vehicle.

Then once you are onboard there are more dividers between the seats separating the rows. It looks like plexiglass in front of the vehicle and softer plastic between the rows.

Here is how it looks when you are on the attraction. I would imagine there is going to be very little airflow while on the Kilimanjaro Safaris Vehicles and the soft plastic will obstruct some views while on the ride.

Here is a peek on how it will look while on the ride.

Disney has taken every measure possible to keep guests safe while maintaining social distancing measures even on rides and attractions like the Kilimanjaro Safaris!

Special thank you to ThePixarGirl for getting us photos & videos!

A Closeup Look at the All-New Stunning Cinderella Castle

Cinderella Castle’s magical makeover has been in the works since March and has finished just in time to welcome back guests into the Magic Kingdom at the Walt Disney World Resort. The magical makeover was in conjunction with the 70th anniversary of the Disney princess classic, ‘Cinderella.’

Thanks to Marcus Q‘s magnificent photos on Twitter, we were able to get a closeup look at the all-new Cinderella Castle paint job! The royal blue spires and rose gold paint on the inner curtain makes the castle look much more vibrant.

The bright color choices will help the paint job to fade more slowly under the intense Florida sun and storms.

You can really see the pinks and blues…

Are you a fan of the new vibrant castle or do you miss its more muted days? Let us know in the comments.
