No virtual queues will be used when Disney World reopens

No virtual queues will be used when Disney World reopens Virtual queues

Going to Walt Disney World will certainly be different when we return in July. We previously reported on many of the changes to expect, such as which attractions will be open. Now a new source is indicating that we won’t be seeing either single rider lines or virtual queues when the Disney theme parks reopen.

An online journalist, Scott Gustin, shared the following news on Twitter. It’s being reported that both virtual queues and single rider lines won’t be used when the Walt Disney World theme parks reopen.

It’ll will be interesting to see first-hand what this development means for attractions such as Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance. The Hollywood Studios attraction was quite popular with Disney World guests after it opened in December. Those hoping to ride the latest Star Wars attraction would have to go arrive early at the theme park to obtain boarding passes for the virtual queue. But with no virtual queues or single rider lines, it seems guests will now have to wait in line for Rise of the Resistance.

Both Magic Kingdom and Disney’s Animal Kingdom open to the public on July 11, 2020. Then both Epcot and Disney’s Hollywood Studios open to guests on July 15, 2020. We’ll report coverage of our experiences when we return to the Disney Parks.

Aerial View of Tron Coaster’s Construction in Magic Kingdom

Aerial View of Tron Coaster’s Construction in Magic Kingdom

Roller coaster fans have been virtually drooling over the promise of the new Tron coaster coming to Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom in 2021. The ride will mirror the roller coaster of the same name in Shanghai Disneyland, which opened with rave reviews in 2016.

Recent closures in the parks have delayed news of progress in the construction of the ride, also known as ”Tron Lightcycle Run, ” but thankfully we have new aerial proof of its development. It will be located in Tomorrowland, close to Space Mountain, another futuristic thrill ride.

The attraction features a two-wheeled cycle for each passenger to board on an exciting ride through a digital world, just like in the iconic film. Fans were able to get an up-close and personal view of the vehicles at last year’s D23 expo. Cast Member uniforms were also on display. The best idea of what to expect comes from the original Tron coaster in Shanghai. Fans shared overwhelmingly positive reviews after its opening, so Walt Disney World vacationers can hope for a similar experience.

2021 will be a year to remember! With the completion of the Tron Lightcycle Run and Walt Disney World’s 50th-anniversary celebration, there are many things to look forward to!
