With Magic Kingdom and Disney’s Animal Kingdom set to reopen to the general public this Saturday, July 11th, and Disney’s Hollywood Studios and EPCOT following next week on July 15th, we’ve been closely monitoring all the official statements Disney World has released about which transportation services will be available to guests.

Magic Kingdom

Previously, we confirmed that monorail and ferryboat service to and from the Transportation and Ticket Center to Magic Kingdom will resume earlier than originally projected and in time for the Annual Passholder previews scheduled for July 9th and 10th. Disney World Annual Passholders, however, will be required to provide their own transportation to the parking lots and parking lot tram service will not be running.

Now we’ve just received confirmation from Disney that parking lots trams will not be operating at any of Walt Disney World’s theme parks when the parks begin reopening to the general public on July 11th. Guests will be required to walk from their cars to the front entrance of the parks instead.

It’s unclear when parking lot tram service will resume; Disney World is only stating “parking lot trams will not be available at this time.” Meanwhile, Disney has also confirmed that the theme park parking lots will offer a “cashless payment” option.

Magic Kingdom

Things are changing constantly now that Disney World’s grand reopening is imminent, so we’ll keep on eye out for any further announcements regarding when guests can expect parking lot tram service to resume. With the limited capacity measures in place, there will likely be fewer vehicles and it won’t be such a long trek to the gates. We’ll keep you updated on our experiences parking and visiting the parks as the phased reopening continues!

News regarding the reopening of Downtown Disney in Disneyland Resort has been slowly trickling in. There has been some speculation and confirmations of what businesses will be available to the public on July 9th.

Catal and UVA Bar at Downtown Disney

Some restaurants had to adjust given the recent California mandate that required indoor dining at restaurants and bars to close. We confirmed that Naples Ristorante e Bar and Uva Bar will reopen with outdoor seating and limited menus. We also learned Salt & Straw will be available with a new to ice cream flavor to mark the reopening. We now have a full list of confirmed restaurants and retail shops that will re-open tomorrow!

The shopping and dining district will reopen with increased health and safety protocols much like Disney Springs in Walt Disney World. Guests will be required to get their temperature check, distance themselves from other guests, and wear a mask. Here is the confirmed list of businesses opening tomorrow morning.

The discount has landed just in time because the crowd-favorite Morimoto Baby Ribs made it BACK on Morimoto’s limited menu! The ribs are coated in a special sauce that is the perfect balance of sweet, sticky, and spicy. You might as well get two orders since you’re saving money anyway!

We recently revisited Morimoto since they reopened and filled up on Beef Lo Mein and the new Cauliflower Egg Rolls with Buffalo Beer Cheese Sauce. Have we tempted you with the tastes and smells of Morimoto yet? It’s definitely worth a try!

Silly old bear! While we saw Rabbit, Piglet, and Eeyore were out bright and early yesterday morning at Magic Kingdom, Winnie the Pooh was nowhere to be found!

He must have gotten his paw stuck in a honey pot or something — but he did eventually show up later in the day! And check out where else we spotted Winnie Pooh and his pals recently — in corduroy PLUSH form!

We’d previously seen this super-soft and cuddly collection of Winnie the Pooh and friends plush back in February, but we haven’t seen them make their way to Disney World — until today!

In fact, the entire Hundred Acre Wood gang has arrived at World of Disney in Disney Springs including Eeyore, Tigger, and Piglet too! We love how adorable and soft they are! Seriously, could these guys get any cuter?

Each one of these adorable goofs costs $29.99, no matter which one you get! We’re a sucker for Winnie the Pooh, but the Piglet Plush is calling our names, too! Besides, Pooh Bear will need a friend or two if he’s coming home with us.

Of course, we can’t wait to ride The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh when we return to Magic Kingdom later this week since we haven’t had the chance to hop on it yet! We did experience Seven Dwarfs Mine Train and Splash Mountain though, and you can see what full day at the park was like yesterday here!
