‘Tis the season for holiday specials, Christmas movies, and marathons from our network partners across The Walt Disney Company. Tune-in all month long as ABC, Freeform, Disney Channel, Disney+, ESPN, National Geographic, and Radio Disney spread holiday cheer and gift viewers with festive programming throughout the season, from beloved classics to new favorites.

Celebrate the most wonderful time of the year with family friendly fare including a brand-new “Disney Parks Magical Christmas Day Celebration” from Walt Disney World Resort; new episodes of “The Great Christmas Light Fight”; and festive holiday episodes of your favorite ABC comedies. No one does the holidays like Freeform, and this December Freeform is celebrating the holidays with their very merry programming event ‘25 Days of Christmas.’ From Dec. 1-25, viewers can get into the holiday spirit at home with movies, including “Home Alone” and Disney and Pixar’s “Toy Story.” Check out the full schedule here.

Join us in DisneyNOW this holiday season! Check out “Disney Holiday Magic Quest” where popular “ZOMBIES 2” stars and Disney Villains race at Walt Disney World Resort during a special access visit premiering on Dec. 4. But, that’s not all! Celebrate the holidays all month long on Disney Channel with new specials, episodes, music, games and more. “Doc is IN” special on Disney Junior (Dec. 4), new “Fam Jam” holiday episode on Disney Channel (Dec. 4), “Epic Holiday Showdown” on Disney Channel (Dec. 6), “Holiday House Party” on Disney Channel (Dec. 11), new “Just Roll With It” holiday episode (Dec. 11), “Disney Holiday Magic Quest Live Play!” on Disney Channel and in DisneyNOW (Dec. 13) and new “Raven’s Home” holiday episode (Dec. 18).

This year, it’s Season’s Streamings on Disney+ and they’re decking the halls and spreading the cheer with a heartwarming collection of some of the most festive family viewing of all time. The “Happy Holidays Collection” has something for everyone from adored classics like “The Santa Clause” to highly anticipated Disney+ Originals like “LEGO Star Wars Holiday Special,” “Godmothered” premiering Dec. 4, “High School Musical: The Musical: The Holiday Special,” premiering Dec. 11, and “On Pointe,” premiering on Dec. 18. While the weather outside is frightful, the movies premiering on Disney+ this season are delightful, bringing families together with heartwarming new movies including “Black Beauty,” “Safety” on Dec. 11, and “Soul” on Dec. 25.

NBA Christmas is back and ESPN and ABC are gifting you some of the best matchups of the year! Tune in on Christmas Day to check out some of the highest flying action you will see on the hardwood all season. Stay tuned to ESPN as the matchups will be announced in the coming weeks!

It’s that time of the year again! The holiday season is upon us and that means two weeks of Dr. Pol all day, every day. Starting on Monday, Dec. 21 Nat Geo WILD will be filled with Pol-iday cheer with “The Incredible Tales ” of Dr. Pol every night. The marathon continues through the new season, which premieres Saturday, Jan. 2, 2021.

One New Year’s Day, we celebrate the 150^th episode of “Life Below Zero” with 21 hours of “Life Below Zero” marathon as we welcome the arrival of 2021. Don’t miss a special preview of the new season of “Port Protection Alaska” right after the 150^thepisode of “Life Below Zero.”

We’re excited to announce that our friends in Paris are heralding the holidays with the launch of a free digital Advent Calendar on the website “Disneyland Paris at home.”

Each day through December 24, the calendar will unlock seasonsational content that helps bring the magic of the holidays home. Available in six languages, this festive fun is available to fans and guests around the globe! One day might offer up a sumptuous recipe, exclusive artwork, or a do-it-together activity that you can share with your friends and family.

For Clemson University running back Darien Rencher, yesterday’s football practice started out like any other. That is until Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney pulled Darien aside for a special surprise. 

During an emotional moment between player and coach, Swinney revealed to Darien that he has been chosen to receive this year’s Disney Spirit Award. The recognition is presented annually to the most inspirational figure in college football.

Darien demonstrated leadership amid college football’s push to overcome social injustice and the coronavirus pandemic. Working alongside some of the sport’s biggest stars, Darien was one of the early voices that sparked a national movement to promote safe play during the 2020 season. He has also long been a vocal advocate for improving the lives of those in the African-American community, and was a key organizer of a peaceful campus march by the football program in support of social justice.

Disney Sports Vice President Faron Kelley will present Darien with the Disney Spirit Award live on ESPN during a virtual broadcast of The Home Depot College Football Awards show on Jan. 7, 2021 at 7 pm ET. Starting today, the Taste of EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays will bring seasonal fun from around the globe to the Walt Disney World Resort theme park. Through Dec. 31, 2020, this magical event features delicious food, activities for the whole family, a chance to see Disney characters in their holiday finest and more. 

We were out in the park today to chronicle some of the merriment as guests got their first taste of the festival. Check out the photos below for the seasonal fun already underway at EPCOT!

Still making notes on your holiday shopping list? There is plenty of festive merchandise available throughout World Showcase as part of this year’s festival, including fragrances, apparel, ornaments, dolls, stocking stuffers, tree trimmings and so much more. Earlier this week, we shared a recipe for Ham Sliders with Pineapple Cherry Jam that is sure to take your Thanksgiving leftover game to the next level. Today, we are talkin’ turkey…and stuffing!

We recently published the Foodie Guide to the Taste of EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays highlighting so many delicious dishes from the Holiday Kitchens this year. 

But for today, I selected one of my favorite recipes from a past holiday festival – Leftover Stuffing Waffles with Turkey, Gravy, Mashed Potatoes, and Homemade Cranberry Sauce. This remix of the traditional Thanksgiving feast is the ultimate plate of leftovers – complete with crispy stuffing waffles! (Disney bonus points if you make your stuffing waffles with a Mickey-shaped waffle maker found at shopDisney.com!)

LEFTOVER STUFFING WAFFLES WITH TURKEY, MASHED POTATOES, GRAVY, AND HOMEMADE CRANBERRY SAUCE 

EPCOT^® International Festival of the Holidays

Serves 6

CRANBERRY SAUCE

• 12 ounces cranberries
• 1 cup sugar
• 1 cup water
• Zest of 1 orange

WAFFLES

• 4 1/2 cups leftover stuffing, crumbled
• 2 eggs, beaten
• 1/4 to 1/2 cup heavy cream
• Vegetable oil, for brushing waffle maker

TO SERVE

• 1 pound warmed leftover turkey, sliced 
• 2 cups warmed leftover mashed potatoes
• 2 cups warmed leftover gravy

FOR CRANBERRY SAUCE:

1. Stir together cranberries, sugar, water, and orange zest in saucepan over low heat. Cook, stirring occasionally, about 10 minutes, until sugar dissolves and cranberries are soft. 
2. Increase heat to medium and cook about 12 minutes, or until cranberries burst. Cool to room temperature before serving. 

FOR WAFFLES:

1. Preheat waffle maker to medium-high. Combine stuffing, eggs, and 1/4 cup cream. If mixture is too dry and not spreadable in the waffle maker pockets, add more cream as needed, until mixture is just wet enough to spread.  
2. Generously brush top, bottom, and all pockets of waffle maker with oil.
3. Evenly and firmly pack each pocket of the waffle maker full with stuffing mixture. (Note: If using a mini waffle maker this will make 12-14 mini waffles. A larger waffle maker (6”-8” in diameter) will yield 6-8 waffles). Close and cook about 7 to 8 minutes, until golden and the waffles easily lift out of waffle maker. 

TO SERVE:

Place two mini waffles or one large waffle on each plate. Top each with turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, and cranberry sauce. 

Note: Always use caution when handling sharp objects and hot contents. Please supervise children who are helping or nearby. This recipe has been converted from a larger quantity in the restaurant kitchens. The flavor profile may vary from the restaurant’s version.
