Disney releases official statement on the new Park Pass System

Disney releases official statement on the new Park Pass System disney

Earlier this week, many people attempted to plan their trips to Walt Disney World by using the new online reservation system. Florida’s Disney theme parks reopen next month and some were hoping to go there this summer. Unfortunately, the online reservation system is off to a rocky start with potential guests trying to plan their vacation.

According to user complaints on social media, the Disney Park Pass System informed some individuals that all reservations were booked until February 2021. Many of those who used the new online reservation system say they waited for hours to access it. But by the time they were able to get in, these users claim that some days and attractions were booked to capacity. These customers were met with either a “Just a Moment” message or faced with a blank screen.

A Disney spokesperson defends the reservation system. On Monday, Disney made the system available first for people with a previous resort reservation. According to the spokesperson, there’s no glitch with with the system. If you couldn’t make a reservation on Monday, then most likely it wasn’t your turn to make reservations yet. For those wondering who can go next, the online reservation system will be available for annual passholders this Friday and then for the general public on Sunday.

The spokesperson does reassure the public that they should revisit the system later. The Disney Park Pass System allows a user to book visits as far out as September 2021. More space will be available for annual passholders and the public later this week.
