Who’s up for a treat? We’re back at one of our favorite ice cream spots for the first time since mid-March!
And while the to-go window is now open, we’ve got a dining reservation to eat inside! Join us as we step inside a newly reopened Beaches and Cream to check out their offerings — which usually come topped with tons of whipped cream and a cherry!
Arriving and Checking In
Beaches and Cream is one of the many dining locations in Disney World participating in the new Mobile Dine Check-In. With this new feature on the My Disney Experience app, we did not have to check-in at any host stand.
Instead, you receive a push notification when your check-in window opens, or you can scan a QR code that’s placed next to the stand to let the Beaches and Cream folks know when you’ve arrived!
Once you virtually check-in, you’ll receive a separate notification when your table is ready! Looks like it’s time to go in!

Seating and Menu
Like every other newly reopened dining location we’ve checked out in Disney World, tables and seating are now spaced out to accommodate physical distancing.
We noticed all of the records have been removed from Beaches and Cream’s famous jukebox and haven’t quite made their way back yet! Luckily, there was still a little music playing in the background (one someone’s phone!) but towards the end of our meal, it got a little quiet when the Cast Member went home and took their tunes with them! Kind of weird to sit in a silent Beaches and Cream.
Condiments like ketchup, mustard, and mayonnaise are also only available to individually wrapped packets for now, so if you were hoping to see Beaches and Cream’s cute squeeze bottles, you’re outta luck!

As for menus, Beaches and Cream has a QR code to scan so that guests may view the menu electronically or you can request to see a disposable paper copy.
We were told some of Beaches and Cream’s menu items aren’t currently available including the Beaches & Cream Salad, Patty Melt, Turkey and Applewood-smoked Bacon Sandwich, and Salmon Sandwich with Bacon Aioli.
They’ve also erased their Plant-based Bowl of Chili, Chicken Noodle Soup, and dessert offerings including Apple À la Mode and Beaches Chocolate Cake for the time being!

The rest of the menu looks about the same and don’t worry — Kitchen Sinks and No Way José Sundaes have re-emerged unscathed!
In fact, there was still plenty of ice creamy offerings to be had!
It’s been a long time since we got to DIVE into one of these bad boys, so without further delay, let’s get to the FOOD!
Eats
We had worked up quite the appetite today, so we went with the French Dip Sandwich, Beaches & Cream Grilled Cheese, and Cheddar Bacon Ranch Chicken Sandwich!
Even though we were anxious to skip right to dessert, Beaches and Cream’s food is truly delicious, too — hence one of the reasons why we’re so obsessed with this joint! The French Dip Sandwich was truly on point! The crunchy onion straws added some nice texture and the au jus was rich and meaty! The tater tots that came on the side were nice and crispy too!
The Cheddar Bacon Ranch Chicken Sandwich was super yummy, too! Packed with tons of flavor thanks to all that melty cheese and BACON! The fries were perfectly golden brown and crispy as well.
And even though it’s one of Beaches and Cream’s most simple offerings, we LOVE their Grilled Cheese! The bread is so buttery and toasty while the cheese is all melty and gooey. You’re never too old to enjoy such a good Grilled Cheese Sandwich done right!
And of course, the moment we’ve ALL been waiting for! Bring on the ice cream!

We almost cried when we laid eyes on this Fudge Mudslide Sundae, complete with Oreo cookie Mickey ears!
But why order only one sundae when you can get TWO?! We also felt compelled to get the Snickers Sundae as well! Now it’s a PARTY!
We definitely had to save some room for these sundaes — we know we’re not to only ones who get most of our food wrapped to-go so we can focus on more important matters such as ICE CREAM! But Beaches and Cream is truly the best of both worlds and we have to enjoy a meal AND dessert each time we come!

Payment
Our bill arrived in a disposable paper envelope which we’ve seen at other restaurants that have recently reopened at Disney World.
And for those of you with Tables in Wonderland, it is still being accepted at Beaches and Cream!
Overall Impressions
Anyone with a love of the oldies but goodies can find a good time happening at Beaches and Cream — ESPECIALLY if you have a sweet tooth! We were so happy to get to enjoy this special place again and even though we’ll have to wait a little longer to rock out to our favorite records, we’ll definitely be back for more classic eats and sweets!
