Disney parks around the world are beginning to reopen.
Opening the same week as Walt Disney World, Disneyland Paris will begin a gradual reopening on July 15th — but that’s not the only result of getting back to business. Construction has also resumed in the park on several highly-anticipated upcoming attractions, like the Marvel Hotel! Check it out.
Disneyland Paris announced that in-progress construction and renovation work will resume this week. These projects include Disney’s Hotel New York — The Art of Marvel, Avengers Campus, Cars Route 66 Road Trip, and Disney Junior Dream Factory.
Recently, Imagineering President Bob Weiss gave us an update on construction at the Disney parks around the world. He assured that Avengers Campus in Disneyland Paris (and in Disney California Adventure) would “be able to surge forward.”
As construction resumes, the health and safety of Imagineers, Cast Members, contractors, and suppliers remain a priority. Imagineering has implemented new health measures such as face masks and physical distancing.
Natacha Rafalski, President of Disneyland Paris, said of the resumption, “I am very pleased to welcome our Cast Members, the Imagineers, and the contracting companies to relaunch the construction of new and exciting experiences that will entertain and delight our visitors in the years to come.”
