When The LEGO Store reopened on May 27th at Disney Springs, we were curious to see how our shopping experience would be different!
Turns out, a lot had changed! Guests were NOT allowed to approach the shelves or touch ANY products inside the LEGO Store and Pick a Brick was no longer available. But today, it looks like Pick a Brick is back –only it’s being done a little bit differently.
We were used to filling our own plastic containers for Pick a Brick along the brick wall, but now the process is even easier.
You simply look at the brick menu, fill out a Pick a Brick form, and a Brick Specialist will scoop your order of bricks for you!
Small cups of bricks sell for $8.99, and large cups sell for $15.99 and you can specify whether you want a quarter scoop, half scoop, or full scoop!
And The LEGO Store is also throwing in a free extra scoop of bricks to make up for guests not being able to scoop ’em themselves! They come in bright yellow LEGO bag!
They’re also selling already-made LEGO Figure Packs for $10 which include five LEGO figures instead of the standard three since you can’t fill them yourself!
We’ll be looking forward to scooping our own LEGO bricks someday, but at least there’s a great workaround in place until that day comes!
