While we’ve been busy becoming masters of Disney World’s new reservation system (check out our tutorial here!), we’ve also been trying to figure out who will have access to park reservations when it goes live on June 22nd.
So far, we’ve been able to confirm guests staying at Disney’s Swan and Dolphin Resort (which is owned by Marriott) will have the same access as guests staying at Disney-owned hotels.
And now theme park reporter Carly Weisel has also found out guests who will be staying at one of the seven Disney Springs Resort Area Hotels (which are privately-owned) will ALSO have the same access to park reservations as Disney World guests!
That following properties are eligible:
If you have booked a room at one of these resorts AND you have valid theme park admission, you’ll be able to make your Disney World park reservation starting on June 22nd. Thanks to Carly Weisel, we also know guests staying at Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World will qualify as well.
Keep in mind, many of these properties shut down around the same time as Disney World resorts and some have remained closed. Here are the Disney Springs Resort Area Hotels that are still closed and have yet to release their official reopening dates at this time:
- Best Western Lake Buena Vista – Disney Springs® Area
- DoubleTree Suites by Hilton – Disney Springs® Area
- Hilton Orlando Buena Vista Palace – Disney Springs® Area
- Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista – Disney Springs® Area
- Holiday Inn Orlando – Disney Springs® Area
Make sure you check with your resort regarding your upcoming stay and if you have any questions, shoot them out to us in the comments below! We’re doing out best to keep up with all of these details regarding Disney World’s phased reopening, which are coming at us left and RIGHT! Stay tuned for more developments so you can start planning your next Disney World vacay!
Have you ever stayed at a Disney Springs Resort Area Hotel? Let us know if you’d recommend it to others in the comments below!
