Josh Gad and GMA Surprise COVID-19 Heath Care Worker and Her Daughter. Ashley and her daughter Paige have sacrificed several months of time together as Ashley works hard in Pittsburg, PA to help COVID-19 patients and has not had a single day off since February 2020.

Good Morning America caught wind of Ashley’s story and wanted to help bring a little Disney magic to their day by organizing a conversation with Josh Gad after finding out Paige is a HUGE fan of Olaf and the Frozen franchise.

Between reading bedtime stories on weeknights to help kids sleep, recording Olaf shortsfrom home to share with fans, and preparing for his busy future film schedule, Josh has been juggling all his tasks and still manages to make appearance on talk shows, news programs, and appearances in the Disney Family Singalongs! Whew, don’t forget to take a break once in a while Josh.

In the video, GMA host T.J. opens the video by first interviewing Ashley, then Paige, about all the hard work Ashley is doing for her patients About midway through their conversation T.J. brings up Paige’s love for Olaf and then surprises the pair with an appearance by Josh Gad himself! Gad shared a supportive message for Paige and Ashley and the two are left rather speechless during the whole exchange. Oh. M. Goodness, isn’t Paige the cutest?!? She was clearly very excited to get to talk to Olaf and is supportive of her mommy’s hard work to help keep people safe and healthy! Disneyland sends out survey over masks and temp checks

disneyland

The Orange County Register is reporting that Disneyland is sending annual passholders a survey about protective face masks, temperature checks at park entrances, and pre-arrival health questionnaires.

This survey asks for feedback on how likely passholders would be to visit the Disneyland Resort if certain health and safety measures were implemented. One series of questions focused on three potential reopening options with regards to masks, temperature checks, and health questionnaires.

In all three scenarios, operational changes at the parks included: Reduced attendance, social distancing, enhanced cleaning protocols and COVID-19 employee training.

Option 1 presented a scenario in which visitors were encouraged but not required to wear face masks. Option 2 required masks for visitors ages 3 years and over as well as temperature screenings before entering the park. Option 3 was identical to the second option, except the mask age was boosted to 10 years and over.

All three options included pre-arrival COVID-19 health questionnaires for visitors.

The Disneyland Resort remains closed and there’s no update on when they might submit reopening plans. California theme parks can reopen during California’s stage 3 of reopening and the governor says that could be as early as this month.

New Disney World Website “Experience Updates” Now Available

disney world

Disney has released a lot of news and updates lately regarding their reopening plans for Walt Disney World. You can visit a new “Know Before You Go” hub, “Experience Updates“, to help keep informed on what changes will be made.

The new page explains how cleanliness, physical distancing, and reduced contact is only the start of the measures that will be implemented when Walt Disney World reopens.

The page also mentions a new Park Reservation system that will be in place at the start of the reopenings. Guests will need to have a park reservation and valid admission to the theme park in order to be allowed inside.

At this time, ticket sales and new Resort hotel reservations are put on hold to honor reservations that have already been made. If you have already purchased a ticket or are an Annual Passholder, you will be able to make reservation requests before sales open again.

The site also gives guests a list of top things to know before going to the parks. Just like at Disney Springs, guests going to the parks will need to wear face coverings, go through a temperature check, and practice social distancing.

At the end of the page is a COVID-19 warning. Even with all of the health and safety measures Disney implements, there’s still a risk of exposure. Guests who visit Walt Disney World Resort voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to the virus.

This site will continue to be updated as Disney makes changes and updates its policies.
