B.B. Wolf’s Sausage Co. Is Now Open in Disney World!

With all the craziness (and the LONG WAIT) that it took to get inside World of Disney yesterday, we’re finally getting around to some other Disney-owned businesses that recently reopened!

B.B. Wolf’s Sausage Co.

One of those newly reopened spots happens to be run by the Big Bag Wolf! And if you’re a fan hot dogs and brats, you may be happy to know B.B. Wolf’s Sausage Co. is open for business!

That’s right, little piggies! B.B. Wolf’s Sausage Co. officially reopened yesterday! According to the Cast Member we spoke with, they’re operating with only a slightly smaller menu.

B.B. Wolf’s Menu

We also noticed B.B. Wolf’s Maple Bacon Chocolate-Chip Cookie Dough was no longer listed on its permanent menu! It’s still available, but this rather temporary-looking pop-up sign gave us a moment of pause!

Check out our review of B.B. Wolf’s Sausage Co. in Disney Springs here!

B.B. Wolf’s Window

There wasn’t a line at B.B. Wolf’s when we stopped by today, but we did notice they’ve placed some social distancing markers outside just in case there’s a rush! And to see another Disney-owned restaurant we’ve had a chance to visit at Disney Springs recently, click here!

News: Disney World Will NOT Require Guests to Wear Face Masks While Swimming

Now that Disney World is planning on reopening some of its hotels as early as next month while its theme parks will be opening later in July, we have SO MANY questions!

Guest Relations Cast Member in Disney Springs

And while we already know Disney World Resort will be requiring guests and Cast Members to wear face masks at all times except when dining, will we have to wear one at the pool?

According to Disney World’s website, all guests ages three and up must wear face coverings when visiting Disney World Resort and guests must supply their own masks. But rather interestingly, their website is now stating face covers can be removed when dining or swimming.

Walt Disney World’s Website

Keep in mind Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach are expected to remain closed even after the Disney World theme parks reopen, but this will be good information to keep in mind in case you want to visit the pool at your Disney World Resort.

Click here to read everything you need to know about wearing a face mask at Disney World!

Luna Park Pool at Disney’s Boardwalk

Not requiring face coverings to be worn while swimming is in keeping with CDC guidelines. According to the CDC, they “advise those wearing face coverings to not wear them in the water. Cloth face coverings can be difficult to breathe through when they’re wet.”

Disney hasn’t shared much information on the reopening of their pools. We will continue to keep you posted on face coverings and information regarding the hotel’s public pools as it is released.

Check out 16 of the cutest Disney face masks we’ve seen so far here!

Updated: NEWS! Disney World Guests’ FastPasses Are Disappearing in July — Even AFTER the Reopening Date

UPDATE: As of 3:20PM, our FastPasses reservations have returned to My Disney Experience. At this time we are still unable to make new FastPasses and we cannot currently modify our existing FastPasses.

Disney World proposed their reopening plan yesterday and since then they’ve been working out the details.

Magic Kingdom

Disney is set to introduce a new reservation system for their theme parks and right now, they are no longer accepting new reservations. Yesterday we even spotted that Advance Dining Reservations were unavailable. Well today, something a little surprising is happening for folks who had FastPasses scheduled for July.

Today, members of our team and some of our readers noticed that their FastPasses for July (starting on the 11th when the parks are planning to reopen) were gone!

Sever Dwarfs Mine Train

Strangely enough, with no notice from Disney, FastPasses started disappearing from guests’ plans. Our FastPasses were still there this morning, so Disney must have pulled them sometime late morning or early afternoon. We had FastPasses booked throughout July and now they are all gone.

Of course, we tried to make some new FastPasses to see if we’d be able to but we were met with an error screen. Update: It will currently allow us to get as far as picking the park and the date, but it then errors out.

Fastpass+ Error Screen

Our dining reservations are still available in our plans but it sure is weird that all of our FastPasses disappeared. We haven’t heard any statement from Disney on how the reopening will affect the FastPass system, so we are interested to learn more about Disney’s process. Perhaps this is a glitch and the FastPasses will return, but we’re not sure.

This is a developing situation so we’ll be sure to keep you updated as we learn more! As mentioned above, as of 3:20PM, our FastPasses reservations have returned to My Disney Experience. At this time we are still unable to make new FastPasses and we cannot currently modify our existing FastPasses.

Were you affected by this sudden cancelation of FastPasses? Tell us in the comments!

It’s a VERY Different Shopping Experience Now in the Lego Store in Disney World

There was another wave of stores that have reopened this week at Disney Springs. We were live yesterday at World of Disney, which drew in huge crowds resulting in wait times of up to six hours to shop!

Ears Section of World of Disney

Today we checked out The LEGO Store, which also opened on May 27. Being a store that was centered around hands-on playing with the Legos, shopping here is pretty different now with the new health and safety measurements in place!

Currently, there is only one working entrance to access The LEGO Store.

The only entrance to the LEGO Store

If outdoor queues are necessary, floor markers are present to indicate where guests should stand to maintain a six-foot distance from other parties.

Outside the LEGO Store

Once inside, guests will see additional floor markings to maintain social distancing from other shoppers.

The store has taken several measures to reduce the number of touchpoints where germs could spread. Their interactive touch screen computers have been turned off. The bins with build-your-own parts for minifigs and Legos for guests to play were also unavailable at this time to reduce touching.

Computers are shut down in the LEGO Store

In addition, guests are NOT allowed to approach the shelves or touch ANY products inside the LEGO Store. This is indicated by taped-off sections of the store.

Additional floor markings are present to remind guests to stay on the “yellow” area, in this instance meaning where the yellow floor markings are located. The floor marking reads, “Kindly stay within the yellow area of the floor.”

Guests must stay behind the blue line and not approach merchandise

If a guest wishes to see a product, LEGO Store employees are available to grab the item for them as well as talk about the product and answer any questions the guest may have.

When a guest is ready to check out, the registers are set up in a way so guests are off to the side of the employee instead of standing right in front of them.

Hand sanitizer is readily available for guests and employees to use at the register.

Overall, the health and safety protocol at The LEGO Store are highly visible! With no guests permitted to touch or interact with the products, The LEGO Store may feel a little different than what we’re used to. Having employees on hand to interact with the guests though is a nice touch, and still offers guests the opportunity to learn about the products available for purchase.

Take a look at some of the other health and safety protocol we’ve seen at retail shops in Disney Springs here!

Are you planning on visiting Disney Springs in the coming weeks? Will you stop by The LEGO Store, even with these new distancing and no-touch policies in place? Let us know in the comments!
