‘Mighty Ducks’ Trilogy Now Streaming on HBOMax. Disney has been working hard to get more content added to the Disney+ library, but it seems The Mighty Ducks franchise will be one of the later additions as the first film is contracted to stream through HBO until July 3rd and the sequels are contracted through the rest of 2020 and will not be available to stream on Disney+ until January 1, 2021. Likely, these dates are when we will see the films leave HBOMax and begin streaming on Disney+.
Disney+ is however working on a Mighty Ducks series for the streaming service that will star Emilio Estevez (Coach Gordan Bombay), Lauren Graham (Alex), and Brady Noon (Evan). Also joining the cast are Swayam Bhatia, Taegen Burns, Julee Cerda, Bella Higginbotham, Luke Islam, Kiefer O’Reilly, Maxwell Simkins and De’Jon Watts.

After 12-year-old Evan (Noon) is unceremoniously cut from the Ducks, he and his mom Alex (Graham) set out to build their own ragtag team of misfits to challenge the cutthroat, win-at-all-costs culture of competitive youth sports. With the help of Gordon Bombay (Estevez), they discover the joys of playing just for the love of the game.”
On Wednesday, HBO launched their new streaming service, HBOMax. HBOMax is now available for $14.99/month from WarnerMedia.
