Kelly Ripa And Ryan Seacrest Share An Up-Close Look At New Disney Face Masks!

Get ready to go back to the parks with these new Disney face masks!

Recently, Disney announced that Walt Disney World will reopen on July 11th for Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom and July 15th for Epcot and Hollywood Studios. But of course with the reopening, some healthy measures should be taken, one of them is wearing a face mask.

But wearing one doesn’t have to be boring, Disney released different styles that will fit every member of your party! Take a look:

Disney Store releases update on store reopenings including health and safety measures

Disney has just released an update to its site on the reopening of the Disney Stores including health and safety measures. While there is no date on actual Disney Store reopenings they did share information on “What to know before you go” along with “Important Health and Safety Measures.”

Know Before You Go

Disney store is taking a responsible and phased approach to reopening and implementing a number of new health and safety measures based on guidance from health authorities, such as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and appropriate government agencies.

While your next shopping experience may look and feel a bit different, rest assured that every re-opened Disney store location will offer outstanding Guest Service and the very best products featuring all your favorite pals.

New Americana Disney Collection Now Available On shopDisney

The Star Spangled ringe tees have been available for a bit, but now they are on sale!

We didn’t get a new pair of ears, but the Americana Minnie ears have been re-released!

There are however new LEGGINGS! I really like the patriotic route they took with these too. The navy blue leggings are sprinkled with Stars, and Mickeys!


There are also lots of other matching Patriotic apparel goodies for the new Americana Disney Collection. Both the new reversible sequin Minnie shirt, and Americana windbreaker would look gorgeous with the leggings too, just sayin! I didn’t notice a new Spirit Jersey though, but I hope we see a new one this year!

There is also a selection of Americana apparel for our princesses too!

Last, but certainly not least, is an ornament of Mickey with a red, white, and blue salute to Old Glory!

Disney Is Experiencing Technical Difficulties…Again. The Saga Continues.

This morning, the Minnie Mouse: The Main Attraction May Tiki Room collection released on shopDisney.

And fans must have FLOCKED to the site, because shopDisney announced they were experiencing technical difficulties.

ShopDisney began instituting a virtual waiting room for the Star Wars merchandise release on May the fourth.

They have used this program to try and control site traffic during popular releases. However, launch day didn’t go so smoothly for the Star Wars merch, because the site was having trouble shortly after the release.

ShopDisney had a few weeks to iron the kinks out and geared up for another collection launch this morning using the virtual queue.

The virtual queue was already being used 30 minutes prior to the release. The announcement stated we would have 10 minutes to browse and fill our carts.

We were able to view the items minutes after they released. Sure, we had to refresh individual pages a few times, but compared to our previous experiences with the Main Attraction releases — this time around wasn’t too bad.

However, another one of our team members joined the virtual queue at 10AM and still wasn’t given access an hour later.

ShopDisney acknowledged the struggle via Twitter stating, “Due to overwhelming interest in today’s release, we’re currently experiencing technical difficulties. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience as we work with our partners to quickly rectify the situation.”

So, the virtual queue system seems to be pretty hit or miss. You could be part of the lot who gets in just fine, or you could end up on a virtual queue list with no concept of where you are in line.
